This Monday, I held the second of the series of 6 one-hour calls with Ceil Salvatore, the owner of New Sun Health products. I always feel so remarkably privileged to be able to speak with her - I mean, how many health product company owners are there who are open to giving you a freebie call about health and how to attain it?

What I loved about this call was that there was hardly any make-sure-to-call-my-company-and-order stuff in it - it was 99.9% information - and highly detailed, to boot.

Why Is Organic Always The Right Choice?

I asked my long-time friend, health expert Dr. Pamela Maloney, about why she feels, as a long-time health practitioner, that using organic products is better than using synthetic.

This is what she says:

There are increasing concerns about food safety and the fact that many processed foods are made from genetically modified products and non-organic food sources.

Organically grown foods have been grown on land that is absent of any chemicals for a minimum of 3 years. The crops are grown without the use of pesticides, chemically produced feritlizer or any chemicals whatsoever. Organic foods are processed and packaged without the use of artificial preservatives, colorings, irradiation or any other additives.

The liver and kidneys take the hit from ingesting pesticides, artificial preservatives, colorings, and petrochemical created fertilizers. It is a great strain on them to process these substances. Some non-organic ingredients are stored in the fatty tissues of the body so as to keep them out of the blood stream and away from the overtaxed organs. They get dumped out later when you loose weight and the fat breaks down. This is a toxic situation for the body.

Grateful All Year Long

I watched a horrific movie the other night - City of God, the pseudo-documentary in story form about life in the Rio de Janeiro and San Paolo slums - with all the drug dealing, money corruption, police brutality, and how the youth there have no care at all for life or limb, and lack any kind of hope or way to improve their lives.

Being empathic, I felt devastated. The feeling I walked away with was of such utter hopelessness and powerlessness in the face of such overwhelming enormous corruption, greed, violence and despair that I lay awake all night.

Next morning I felt as if a train had run over me. After I had finally resolved my upset with good ole EFT and kind comfort from a couple friends, I felt the most amazing, sweet, permeating sense of peace fill me. I went outside to my little yard - which only 3 years ago was literally the smelly, centipede-filled, compost/dump for my landlady's kitchen detritus and the yard-man's discarded stuff, and is now my own personal jungle of lush growing green - and I sat in one of the chairs and allowed myself to just breathe deeply and feel grateful down to my core.

Because, if I tell myself the truth, I have it easy. WE have it easy. Compared to the city portrayed in City of God, most of us live in absolute heaven. We get to make choices about who we are and what we want to do and where we want to live. We get to be entrepreneurs and energy practitioners and internet marketers and MLMers and speakers and teachers and artists and coaches - and like it's possible - POSSIBLE - to succeed.

Many of the people on my mailing list are real go-getters, unsatisfied with the status quo, always wanting to improev and expand their lives and their possibilities. Imagine living without any kind of hope - no thanks!

Soak Those Seeds and Nuts!

During my acupuncture education I was taught by a Tibetan acupuncturist who specialized in Cancer that it is absolutely necessary to soak all grains, nuts, and seeds overvinght before eating. This seems like an inconvenient process, but once you start doing it you will appreciate the benefits.

These food products are in a dormant, dried state. They come alive when soaked, literally. It is the same as soaking any seed and seeing it sprout. Life is there! You will think that you will just be cooking the life out of it again in the case of grains, but I will tell you why it is still important to soak your grains overnight.

Shouts to Smiles in 1.5 Minutes

I was just at a local craft store today getting some painting supplies, and have to tell you what happened -

When I walked into the store, there was a noticable feeling of tension. People were glancing over their shoulders at a couple and their 10 or 11 year-old girl who were arguing and shouting at each other. It was very uncomfortable for everyone, and no one quite knew what to do about it, as it was almost loud enough to be very abusive.

I purposely went over near them to listen in - my impish EFT-maniac-self wanted to do some surrogate stuff on them.

It was obvious that, if they had wanted to, they could have bought anything in the store, but the mother acted as if a 39-cent piece of paper and a 3-dollar bottle of paint were going to break their bank for the next year.

And she was screaming at the girl, "Why do you have to paint it white? I think you should paint it red! And why so big? You should...." etc.

The girl was trying to answer, but all she could say was, "But MOM, my teacher said ...." and "You never let me finish!"

Great Expectations

Take a minute and ask yourself this: "How much money do I expect to receive this year?"

If the amount you came up with didn't come close to the amount you WISH you could have, don't be surprised. Statistics say that by the time we are five years old, our basic patterns in life are already set. Including how we deal with money and finances. Enough conditioning is rubbed off on us that we then go through life not expecting, not dreaming, not being ourselves - not not not! Squashed before we even get a chance to choose!

3 Simple Steps to Manifestation

What a trip this last week has been. I may have mentioned that I started painting again recently after a long break - well, today a gallery owner I used to deal with called me and asked my permission to show my work again in Honolulu. Ha! I should say no??? He also wants to look into showing in Japan, as many collectors there enjoy my work. Well, OK!

The entire week has been like this since I've been using one of Esther and Jerry Hicks/Abraham's methods for manifestation (if you don't already have it, get their book, Ask and It Is Given - you'll be so glad you did!). Money started flowing faster, prints, audios and classes are jumping out of my hands, people have been calling and emailing out of the blue for private sessions (and were they happy at the news I'm giving people a holiday special? Oh yes!) and even, now, my paintings. Wow. I am so grateful!

Can YOU Receive?

Last night, I read a little bit in a book that I got a few years ago. I keep it by my bed, and I refer to it so often that it's so dog-eared and worn out that I'm considering replacing it.

Yes, I teach people how to manifest, how to succeed, how to live their dreams. But that doesn't mean I don't lapse or fall off what I know, or that I don't need support like anyone else does. So this is The book I lean on when I fall off into my own personal pits.

You've heard the phrase many times, probably: Ask and It Is Given. That's also the name of the book: Ask and It Is Given, by Esther and Jerry Hicks. Esther is the one who channels the Abraham group.

It's so simple - ask and it is given.

"Right! Don't we wish it was so simple!," I hear you say.

Well, it really is. You've also heard, "What you think, you get," too, haven't you?

I said that to a client one day and she blew her top. She screamed at me, "That's not true! I'd have been re-molested again if it was! I think about what happened too much already!" Yet here she was, having a hard time in an intimate relationship and carried around a huge load of fear. Her old stories ruled her life.

Lenses and Squids

Do you know what a lens is? No, not on a camera—on the internet. I just found out about them this summer.

Imagine that you want to find out info about a subject, and there is a simple site where you can access links, affiliate programs, articles, books, apparel, recipes, polls—you name it—all about—ONLY about—that subject.

That's a lens. It's a deep well, rather than a shallow puddle—which is how a "normal" website is compared.

Now. Many of you have asked me how you can create a website revolving around your business. This is one of many ways to do it. Point it to your business blog, or vicey versey—and lots of traffic, lots of opportunity for income.

Setting up a lens is easy, fast, and is no cost to you, other than your time and energy.

The name of the place to go to set your up is Squidoo.com, a site imagined, innovated and put together by Seth Godin, who you may know as a radical guy in internet marketing and innovation (Think Purple Cow, Bootstrapper's Bible, Do Less etc).

There's a whole nother aspect to building a lens through Squidoo I love—when you get paid for any affiliate stuff from them, you can choose to take part of it and shunt it over to a charity of coice.
