Clear the Decks; Change Lanes!

I'm writing this because I want to let you know that I'm changing lanes. In the past couple years, I gave a whole lot of teleclasses, wrote a ton of books and booklets, and did a lot of personal and biz coaching.

I'm shifting now to the radio format, which will enable me to get my message out to a broader audience. I haven't lost sight of you, though, because I'm still doing business/success coaching. Public Speaking EFT

Lately, I have really been missing my mother. I know, someone might think that sounds corny. But she left us a full 21 years ago - that's a long time. I miss her humor, her kindness and her insights - even though I'd fight her ideas tooth and nail sometimes - well, most times, to be honest! But even though I thought of her as hopelessly old-fashioned, I still loved and respected her.

I'm noticing that there are a lot of people in the same boat recently - they either miss their mom who has left, or are missing feeling a deep connection to their still-around mom. Last week, I worked with a gal in an EFT session for Fear of Public Speaking. I had her pre-visualize the night before her gig, and she immediately exhibited the classic symptoms of public speaking terror: fast heart-rate, sweating, fear of people laughing at her....So we started tapping and getting to the details.

I couldn't figure out why we were going so slowly - usually we can get to the core in a few minutes, and reduce the intensity by at least half. We started at a 10, slowly going to an 8, 7 - I knew there had to be a way to get under it all.

She was only 6 years old when her step-father "accidentally" killed her mother. He had been trying to shut her up with a pillow because she was being "too loud and freaking out."

Where Do I Start Tapping?

A friend called me today asking about tapping on a seemingly complex issue.

I don't know about you, but there are times that, like she was doing, I can chew a problem to little pieces - and each piece will end up looking as big as the Empire State Building.

Now that I've had several years using EFT, I recognize that that's when I have been thinking too much, and if I can remember to, I call another EFTer for his or her perspective.

But you may not have that EFT experience, and might get confused, frustrated and upset. (Where Do I Begin When I'm Overwhelmed and Confused?)

As you know, what we really want to get at is the Core Issue. But I want to stress that it isn't so we can FIX the symptom or even the problem itself! No! It's simpler than that. It's because we want to feel better. Period.

My friend called all in a tizzy, feeling intimidated about making cold calls, about her new MLM business, about feeling not good enough - any one of which would have been enough for an hour's tapping in itself. But essentially, she really only wanted to feel good. Can you see that?

It's A Blue Moon!

Did you ever hear the expression, Once in a Blue Moon? We say it to refer to something that is rare or unseen. Well, we have a Blue Moon this mnth - today, as a matter of fact - it'll be at its fullness about 2 minutes (2:59 Hawaii time)!

I was just thinking how much I appreciate you all - some of the notes I got back from you all saying "I love your emails, I read every one of them, I don't want to unsubscribe" have had me almost in tears. I am so grateful. Thank you, so very much.

So, why not celebrate a little? I was trying to think of something I could offer just I feel so grateful and pleased, and because it's a Blue Moon.
