I want everyone to see what I think is an example of the most amazingly clever way to promote someone's site. Over the last few years, I have signed up with - and unsubscribed from! - a myriad of marketers' newsletters. There's a rare few I have remained signed up with, and one of my favorites is the one by Craig Perrine. No matter what he's doing, I want to know. He was a major part of Nitromarketing for some time, and now is off on his own at MaverickMarketer.com.
Yesterday, he sent a fabulous video critique of Michael Port's new Traffic School promo (see go HERE for PIGEES.com/p/M/traffic-school.html ).
Aside from being a brilliant critique from which you can learn a lot, and that it is a clear run-down of a really unique, dynamic, innovative site, it also shows everything cool about Michael's new offer. Subconsiously I found myself asking, well, where's the link so I can go see it? Since I already knew about it, that surprised me! Hey! I already know about this! I want to go see it again? Powerful - both Craig's crit, and Michael's compelling new course. It's just what people are looking for - a substantial course to learn what needs to be done to get more traffic.
More and more, I see people using video for marketing. Some are pretty funky, and some don't load, some you only hear without seeing any image, some don't work on my mac, some don't jive voice and face so it looks like clumsy aliens on the screen.
This video was perf. I want you to see it! Here's where to go:
